Wave Trainer (“we”, “us”) operates elliottwave-training.com, an educational tool for learning to count Elliott Waves. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. We aim to collect as little as possible.

Who we are

What we collect

• Account details from Google sign-in: your name, email address, and profile picture. We use these only to create and identify your account.
• Practice activity: your scores, attempts, and points, so we can show your progress, personal best, and the leaderboard.
• Marketing preference: whether you have opted out of product-update emails.
• We do not collect payment details, and we do not ask for any sensitive information.

How we use it

• To sign you in and keep you signed in.
• To save and display your scores and the public leaderboard (which shows only name, picture, and points — never your email).
• To send occasional product-update emails, unless you opt out at sign-in or ask us to stop.

Who processes your data

• Google — authentication (sign-in). See Google’s privacy policy.
• Supabase — our database and authentication provider, which stores your account and scores on our behalf.
• Our hosting provider — serves the website’s pages.

We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.

Cookies & local storage

We store a sign-in token and a few preferences in your browser’s local storage so you stay logged in and the app remembers your settings. These are essential to the service; we do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used. It is privacy-friendly and cookieless — it does not use cookies, does not track you across other sites, and does not collect personally identifiable information.

Data retention & your rights

We keep your account and scores until you ask us to delete them. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data — including full account deletion — by emailing geoffreygbull@gmail.com. You can stop marketing emails at any time via the opt-out at sign-in or by contacting us.

Children

Wave Trainer is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy; we’ll change the “last updated” date above when we do.
